Pickleball Tournament March 5th Winner
Congrats to Robert Amabile!!
What is Pickleball?
PickleBall is a game very similar to tennis. It is played on a badminton sized court with the net lowered to 3 feet. Using a ball similar to a wiffleball, teams volley the ball back and forth with wooden paddles similar to ping pong. This simple game is easy for beginners to pick up but can develop into a fast paced competitive game for experienced players. The great thing about PickleBall is the need for accuracy and ball placement, not athletic ability to be successful. This makes it a great sport for everybody of all ages to compete in against each other.
Who can play Pickleball?
Everybody! Due to the nature of the sport, Pickleball can be played and more importantly enjoyed by people of all ages. Pickleball is only as intense as the players make it to be which helps beginners pick up the sport at a comfortable pace, yet allows experienced players to raise the competitiveness of the game.
